FOUL-RELEASE COATING FOR ALL UNDERWATER METALS
Propspeed, the original and best performing foul-release coating in the industry for running gear and underwater metals, has been tried and tested by hundreds of thousands of boaters around the world since 1999, consistently delivering customers the same result - improved boat performance, lower fuel and operational costs, sustained value of their investment, all while keeping the vessel’s running gear looking its best.
Defense against marine growth and corrosion for all underwater metal assets.
Strong long-lasting adhesion to metals is what makes Propspeed unparalleled to other products on the market.
Long-lasting solution that, when applied and maintained correctly, protects underwater metal assets for 12-24 months.
Foul-release, not antifoul. Foul-release coatings use physical means to reduce fouling, creating a surface that’s tough for marine organisms to adhere to.
FOUL-RELEASE PROPERTIES
Propspeed is specially formulated to prevent marine growth from bonding to metal surfaces below the waterline. Propspeed's Clear Coat has both excellent foul-resistance in static conditions and superior foul-release properties in operation, meaning your vessel's running gear is protected season after season.
- Hydrophobic surface
- Foul-release, not antifoul
- Unbeatable protection, peak performance
INSULATIVE PROPERTIES
Propspeed's Clear Coat is an excellent insulator that reduces the risk of corrosion by electrically isolating the metal and limiting the exchanges between the ions and the gases contained in the water and the metal.
Propspeed's Etching Primer is a self-healing coating that chemically passivates the metal surface in any damaged areas keeping your running gear electrochemically protected through harsh conditions.
Combined this delivers boaters:
- Protection against corrosion
- Extended anode life
- An important component of your Cathodic Protection System
SUSTAINABLE PROPERTIES
Propspeed’s foul-release and insulative properties work together to address some complex and challenging issues that have real environmental impacts. By reducing the spread of invasive species, lowering fuel consumption and associated emissions, and extending the life of your anode, thereby reducing the overall heavy metal fallout over the vessel's lifetime, the Propspeed system provides sustainable protection for both your vessel and our oceans.
- Reduces the spread of invasive species
- Reduces anode fall-out into our oceans
- Lowers fuel consumption and associated emissions
- Biocide free coating system
